Our client, a Multinational Belgium Company (Engineering/Construction sector) is looking for a Senior Admin. Accountant.
Plan, direct and/or coordinate support services of the Company
Responsible for all administrative duties of the Company
Apply and improve office systems, layout and equipment procurement
Handle accounts receivable, accounts payable, petty cash, treasury and stock
Preparation of all month end reports for finalization of Management Accounts
Responsible for the maintenance of the general ledger of the company
Maintaining Fixed Asset schedule
Processing of Accruals, Prepayments, Adjustment Journals, Provisions, Revaluation (AR, AP & Bank)
Prepare month end and year end Statutory returns VAT, TDS, NPS, PAYE, ROE, EPF, Statement of goods and services & Annual Returns
Participate in Inventories and process all stock adjustments where required upon approval of Finance Manager
Preparation of Monthly Management accounts
Preparation of monthly payroll/handling HR related issues
Management of site closures and approval site profitability
Prepare bank reconciliation
Weekly update of cashflows
Assist External Auditors
Issue of Financial Statements
Assist Finance Manager and MD in decisions relating to IT.
Any other ad hoc duties as required/assigned by the Regional Finance and Administrative Manager/General Manager
Qualifications & Experience
A degree in Finance/Accounting/Business Management/ACCA Level 2
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position
Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently
Team spirit and willing to provide support wherever required to team members.
Ability to apply a critical mind to any given situation
