Summary
Our Client, a French Company specialized in the development of cleantech and biotech with its subsidiary established in Mauritius, is recruiting a Sales and Business Development Manager
Main responsibilities:
SALES AND MARKETING
- Build up the Customer Relationship Management tool and undertake regular system improvements.
- Expand company’s customer base by drawing on existing leads and finalize sales
- Map potential customers and generate leads for the organization
- Manage the organization of regional sales agents contracted by the company, report results and make recommendations to the sales committee
- Oversee the preparation of commercial offers incl. ROI analysis for clients projects
- Contribute to the preparation of contracts / review amendments
- Present sales strategy reports with realistic forecast to the sales committee
- Contribute to the preparation of the company’s communication and marketing tools
BUSINESS DEVELOPEMT AND DESIGN OF FINANCING TOOLS
- Undertake comparative analysis of alternative options for sales business models (direct sales, BOOT, PPP)
- Contribute to the design of financial solutions for clients’ projects
- Review opportunities for institutional funding options for client’s projects
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by anticipating partnership opportunities as appropriate
- Conduct regular commercial and competitive intelligence monitoring and tracking
- Undertake specific market researches as and when required
- Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, strategic partnerships - or new ways of reaching existing markets
- Set-up regional sales operational objectives and develop strategic plans
TRANSVERSAL DUTIES
- Liaise with all relevant teams and service providers (production, logistics,…) to contribute to timely delivery and identify critical issues and advise as appropriate
- Ensure coordination with client, regulatory bodies and internal teams or service providers for issue of permits as and when required
- Support the financial objectives of the company as far as sales is concerned
- Contribute to analytic accounting reports, review of sales pricing and tariff Understand the needs of customers and recommend on customer-service standards
- Update job knowledge by participating in the company’s other activities
- Build, maintain and transfer data related to professional networks.
Qualification & Experience:
- Post Graduate Degree in a field of competencies close to the job requirements
- At least 10 years experience at a management level
- Languages Fluent in English and French
